Caz Hildebrand: Home Directory is the book that made me change from to having bookmarks everywhere to thinking out loud on tumblr. 10 years after! I’m so glad it was on sale! The best thing it made me do is trust my intuition and tailor my home to the way i want to live: functional, inspirational, my kind of cozy etc. I knew that some of the things featured there were possible (wooden kitchen sink) but they were either forgotten or polluted by an overwhelming feeling that ‘it will never work’. If the side notes had had some sociological perspective I would have no business keeping this blog.
