This set is a good enough excuse for me to post a link to dornob, one of the design blogs I feed my reader with. Not everything there goes with my plans, and this is also the case now: I will surely forget to water any plants I would be persuaded to house indoors. I like the idea of turning colorful PVC fitting into flower vases. I would hate it to pay for this, but colors might be a problem (acrylic paint comes to mind - since it’s oil based there should be no problem). These vases should also work for the modern setting i have in mind. If nothing else, it’s better than using a thermos - I tried this once when I returned with flower and had nothing to put it in. Choosing a plant that goes with the color definitely looks cool.
